1 Soooo .... there was a valid reason why my travel agent wanted me at the airport 3 hours prior to departure.
2 Brisbane flight us overbooked by 10 passengers and guess who doesn't look to have a seat, when the music stops.
Lucky I don't have to be back at work until Monday.

4 So ..... managed to negotiate (a) a stay at the Samara with limo transfers and meals, (b) confirmed exit row seating all the way to Brisbane and (c) return economy flights from Brisbane to Casablanca or equivalent sectors - basically anywhere Emirates fly to.
I'd say that's a win/win.
5 The music has stopped ..... and it's buh-bye to Emirates flight EK434 to Brisbane ... without me.
